What now for Unity Candle?

The next assignment booked for the giant Unity (or Christ) Candle is at Light Pass-Strait Gate Parish in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Eleven congregations have been invited to participate in a special service with a theme of unity.

Late last month the Unity Candle visited Naracoorte in South Australia’s South-East for an SA/NT Zone Family Festival involving eight congregations from the region.

The candle, which originally weighed in at a whopping 22kg, acted as an important reminder of Christ’s light when it was first lit at last year’s LCA General Convention of Synod in Rochedale, Queensland.
