For God everything is possible

10 April 2019

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

‘I repeat: it is much harder for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.’
When the disciples heard this, they were completely amazed. ‘Who, then, can be saved?’ they asked.
Jesus looked straight at them and answered, ‘This is impossible for human beings, but for God everything is possible.’
(verses 24-26)

Read Matthew 19:16-30

For God everything is possible. These are five of the most important words that you can hear, especially during the times that you wonder whether God can change you, whether he can strengthen your faith, or whether he can bring you safely to your heavenly home. What is impossible for human beings to accomplish is possible for God.

When you have no faith, he can create trust in your heart. When you have only sin to offer him, he can take that sin and give you the righteousness of Jesus. When you have only worry and anxiety to cast on him, he can give you his peace. He can, and he does.

It’s amazing, and it’s true: God is taking you and cleaning you out and making you fit for life in his kingdom.

God, thank you for all you have done for me. Thank you for giving me the gift of faith. Thank you for cleansing me from the sin and evil I have done. Thank you for giving me your peace in Christ. Please continue to make your salvation happen in all I think and say and do. Amen.
