The Commission on Worship, in collaboration with Lutheran Earth Care Australia and New Zealand, has made available Season of Creation worship resources for 2024. Congregations are encouraged to begin this season of prayer and action for the environment with a service on 1 September.

General Church Board has approved a statement on Caring for Creation. All entities of the church are asked to promote the paper within their communities and implement its guiding principles in their local settings.

The LCA’s Commission for Social and Bioethical Questions is calling for nominations for a new committee, Lutheran Earth Care Australia and New Zealand.
