You can help Lutheran Media to share timely Messages of hope with someone who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues.

While we frequently hear about wars in Ukraine and Gaza, there are terrible conflicts the world seems to have forgotten, including in Myanmar. However, our Lutheran Church is serving on the frontline there through Australian Lutheran World Service.

Feedback from church members has been critical in helping to refine the LCANZ’s Way Forward framework to go to General Pastors Conference and General Synod for deliberation and vote later this year.

If your LCANZ congregation, school, aged care or community service has a project supporting the welfare of children that needs financial backing, the church’s Borgfeldt Legacy grants may be able to help.

A Congregational Life website designed to support LCANZ congregations and agencies in areas including worship, pastoral care, discipleship and faith teaching, outreach and church planting, and community service is being developed by the church.

Enrolled Nurse Karen Bates of Angaston SA has been named the 2024 Lutheran Nurse of the Year. Karen’s award was announced by the Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA) on 12 May. Sue Morrison, a retired nurse from Warrnambool Vic was awarded a Certificate of Meritorious Service.
